Trivia
- Twisted Thicket Island is Poptropica’s 26th island. The countdown started on April 4, 2012 and the island was released on April 12 for members with no demo. It opened to all on May 2, 2012.
- Common room: Bjorn’s Smorgasbord
- In Greek mythology, a dryad is a female spirit of a tree, which is not quite like the tiny flying critters portrayed in Poptropica.
- Many things in this island were inspired by old folklore and mythology, such as the names of runes like Dokkalfar and Kobold, and the Nokken water spirit.
- According to a Poptropica framework file, this island’s code name is “Woodland.”
- At the Construction Site, when you go to the top floor of the first structure and flush the toilet, then change your elevation, you’ll be teleported to the beginning of the Construction Site area.
- Poptropica Members can play a bonus quest after completing Twisted Thicket. The woodland’s magical essence has scattered across the land. It’s up to you to use your newfound powers to collect the missing shards and return them to their source.
- Members get an additional Twisted Thicket gear pack, which includes Lumberjerk Costume, Troll Power, and Dryad Follower. The Lumberjerk Costume is ONLY available during Early Access!

I can’t wait for this island! That dryad follower is so cute! I wonder if I like my hummingbird, sparkly fairy, or this the best. Maybe I’ll use a different one each day.

Cryptids scared me, an I found it disturbing when I turned into a flying tomato head with fangs in Vampire’s Curse.
I know,right?And Ghost Story?I did that one in the dark and I was like,”OH MY GOSH WHAT THE HECK?!?!?!” when Fiona said “Are you looking for someone?”Then I thought it was a pop-up add,then when it wasn’t I was freaked out!The Vampire’s curse sounds were kinda annoying.
I hope the Creators don’t do anything like that video in the actual island. And I hope there are some sounds, but not to the point where you’re tempted to hit the mute button, like in Vampire’s Curse. I liked the slideshow videos in Game Show, cause its the first time we could tell what a character in the island sounds like. I was one of the many who turned around when when the voice asked “Are you looking for someone?” When I turned back around and looked at the game, I was like “Oh! It’s the GAME!”
Poptropica is one of those few games where sound is a big deal.
They’re cool,but if they keep on going like Vamp.Curse they can be annoying.And I’m playing this now,and I HATE DRYADS!!!!>:(
i beat twisted thicket
question. What do I do? I can’t leave elven vines or leave dyrad hollows. What do I do?

please tell me how to get out of twisted thicket after i beat it!!!
To get back to the blimp I jumped off the little ledge, then ran all the way to the left (jumping over the gap where you can fall down a level). Then you can exit left back to the construction zone outside the forest and head back to the blimp from there.

how do you get to the blimp after finishing the quest?
i got stuck under four vines, and i can’t jump high enough to go left.
if you look at the map, there are two spots on the very top.
look at the two spots diagonlly underneath the top two spots.
THen, look at the first spot in the second row. I’m stuck there.
Please help.
I got stuck there too. Create and enter a multiverse (I think it’s free in the store now), then exit it to get back to the game and you should be back on the branch.
Unfortunately, I don’t know how to get past the next place now (Elven Vines. I only get to tunnels that take me back to the Dryad Queen… It looks like there’s a lot of people trying to get back to the blimp!
You could try going on the home page then click one advert like vamp curse ad it takes u there and go in the blimp tada!

Guys, I was having a struggle getting back to the blimp from Elven Vines, too. Notice on the map there’s a place you haven’t been to yet? What you do is go to the first branch you started out on, and then fall down. Then keep going, jumping over the gaps until you reach a sign that reads “Dryads Only”. Slowly keep walking. You will reach a small hole in the tree. Click “Enter”. Ta-da! This is the place you haven’t been to yet: The Tunnel. Go to the top left corner of this tunnel, and when you click exit, you end up at the Construction Zone! When you go to the left, you should end up at Main Street, where the blimp is! Hope this helped!
I went to my items and went to mythology then you use the touchscreen mirror to go somewhere in mythology thus you get unstuck and still won twisted thicket i hope this helps.
I tryed what you said twice and both times it logged me out of Poptropica
It’s called the vine climb.
I had trouble getting back to the blimp too. But, eventually I got there. What I did was run towards the cliff on the rock in the water and then jump when I got to the rock’s edge. I had to try a couple of times but what happened was I didn’t actually go over cliff but instead my character went through it…I don’t know if that was supposed to happen but at least I got back…Also I think there’s a glitch where we have to avoid the nokken…in the first area of water, there was one part where I fell through the lake bottom and skipped the area where the nokken was hanging on the vine…

I ran left to try and jump the ledge but I didn’t quite make it and while I was falling my character went through the wall and I was free!
I would recommend the ‘using the multiverse’ trick. That’s how I got it
I finished the island… but how do you get out?!

What I did to get out, was once I had finished the island and was in the area where the Queen was, go RIGHT and you enter these dark tunnels, so you make your way through them by going up, then left, then up, then right, past a big rock that your character might say ‘this is too heavy to move’ or something, (so i backtracked a bit) but then i came back to it and i walked straight past it. Then make sure once you go up a bit more go LEFT, and click ‘go left’ and you will be back at the construction site
It was really tricky trying to figure out how to get of there, but I was so glad once I did
OMG it works!! USE THIS WAY TO GET OUT! IT REALLY WORKS!!
They should have made a more……creative plot.
The only good way to get out of the thicket (without membership and the extra quest) so far that I’ve found is to go to the home screen, and click on any ad for any island, which will immediately take you there. Hope it helps.
I’m stuck at bioluminscent blog and I’m not a member and I can’t jump over the high log thing so I can’t get back to the blimp any suggestions?
I’m stuck. I defeated the Island and can’t get to the blimp. I know I’m probably over-looking a way, but HELP!
You can go back the way you came, depending on where you are. If all else fails, use the PopTransport tool on our Cool Stuff page to teleport to a different island.
i know the way to the blip you go on the rock with the tree root on the rock [the bigger rock ]and then you jump up and you put your airrow right above the rock then you jump and you get out, that easy

when you enter the tunnels you go left jump between the gap and led you to the construction site b/c if you go in the gap the you will end up in the queen’s realm
Something weird that I found:
When you go to the top floor of the first structure, and flush the toilet, then change your elevation, the screen goes black and you go to the beginning of the Construction Site.
The Smorgasbord looks quite yummy…
