Trivia
- Super Villain Island is Poptropica’s 30th island. The countdown started on September 20, 2012, and the island was released on September 27 for members with a demo for non-members. It opened to all on October 18, 2012.
- Erewhon (from Erewhon Prison) is an anagram of “Nowhere.”
- Common room: You Know the Drill Eatery
- As you go up the elevator, you’ll pass by villains from previous islands, including the Super Power Island bad guys, a miniature Mr. Silva, El Mustachio Grande, and Gretchen Grimlock.
- If you click on the sleeping Captain Crawfish from inside his experimental container in the prison lab, your character will say, “Captain Crawfish can’t do much blogging from in there,” a reference to Captain Crawfish frequently posting on the Creators’ Blog.
- The vandalized paintings in Black Widow’s dream are Three Musicians by Picasso, Starry Night by Van Gogh, and Water Lilies by Monet.
- The four villains whose minds you must enter are antagonists from previous islands: Captain Crawfish from Skullduggery Island, Black Widow from Counterfeit Island, Dr. Hare from 24 Carrot Island, and Binary Bard (Mordred) from Astro-Knights Island. Binary Bard’s dream also includes the mechanical owl Merlin from Astro-Knights.
- Jupiter is the Roman version of the Greek god Zeus, as evidenced by Dr. Jupiter being a disguise for Zeus.
- The cutscene displaying footage of the damage Zeus is causing around Poptropica is from PNN, a parody of the popular television news network CNN.
- The final showdown with Zeus takes place in New York City with the Statue of Liberty (but with Zeus’s head on it), with the Empire State Building in the background being a reference to Percy Jackson. The battle itself is similar to the final part of Mythology Island.
- Bonus quest for members only: The world may be safe, but another villain stirs in his slumber. Do you dare to enter the dream machine once more, and visit a nightmarish version of one of the most popular Poptropica Islands? After completing the bonus quest, members receive a Dream Guardian costume!
- In the bonus quest, you’ll be in areas of Mythology Island, but the landscape is upside-down and the color is negative.
- Members get an additional Super Villain Island gear pack, which includes Night Hare costume, Sleeping Powder power, and Evil Henchmen item. The Night Hare costume is ONLY available during Early Access!

Zaggy Moondust is a costume from the members-only gear pack from Lunar Colony, which you can get in the Poptropica Store for free if you’re a member. It’s only available during the early access period.
Zaggy Moondust sounds to me like one of those random names that you get first in Poptropica, but “Zaggy” isn’t a word.
Zaggy Moondust is a poptropica version of Ziggy Stardust.

I saw a pic of Betty Jetty on the Super Villian island info page! How strange because they showed ONLY Captain Crawfish, Black Widow, Dr.Hare, and Binary Bard on the creator’s blog.

@Slanted Fish I got a fortune cookie for myself in a non multiplayer room and after a few tries GUESS WHAT I Fortune Cookie=Captain Crawfish Will Return. :O so maybe he comes back out and every1 thinks hes none evil from your assignment to get rid of it and well Im sayin the truth just WEIRD Im serious!
I think this is weird I did a fortune cookie at shark tooth island with my cookie card and after a few tries it said “Captain Crawfish Will Return.” :O o no maybe ur mission was unsuccessful with him and hes in the 21st century xD!

I think this is the only good island in a long time. The islands have been really lame lately. After Cryptids, they all went downhill. I loved all the other islands such as Reality TV, Counterfeit, the first 7, Astro Knights, Skullduggery, etc. I have always been a huge fan of the villains, glad they’re finally coming together. I bet there will be other villains there such as Director D. and the Super Power Island villains (Betty Jetty at least).
Now, how did Dr. Hare get back from space? I know he was in Reality TV, but how? And Crawfish was stranded on that island, he probably got on another ship. Black Widow can easily escape jail, and Binary Bard.. how is he gonna get to Poptropica without the orb? I hope all the loose ends will tie up. Really excited for the island, hope a trailer comes out soon.
They took 4 Poptropica creators and only told that they were on but there are more like Betty Jetty (true).
I just say that he hitched a ride on a rocket, probably your rocket on Astro- Knights, considering he appeared on Reality TV, and tried to rule the world again on “Dr.Hare’s Secret Lair”. I still don’t see how Binary Bard escaped. Even when you click on him in his sleeping chamber on Super Villain Island, your Poptropican says, “I thought Binary Bard was lost in deep space. How did he wind up in here?” I think Zeus (AKA Dr.Jupiter) was able to go back there and save him, with no trouble at all.
I think Dr. Hare might be trapped underground because of the picture in the Super Villlain Island info page, which shows him yelling for help surrounded by ants and there is a box that says “Surface”. Also note the Daily Pop picture with the barn in the background with the two giant carrots sticking out of the ground. Maybe you and Dr. Hare were shrunk somehow?
If you haven’t played Super Villain Island already, it’s just his dream. I don’t know how he got shrunk in the dream, as well as how YOU shrink, when you just entered the dream.

Use the walkie-talkie you got before you jumped off the helicopter to go back to the main island. If you didn’t reach that part yet, you should already be able to go back to the blimp through the way you came.

The walkie-talkie should be in your inventory (the backpack icon on the screen). You should have received it right before you jumped off the chopper, so if you haven’t gotten to that part yet, it wouldn’t be there.
Their is no Director D, The B.A.D. guys, and I think Speeding Spike! Plus a lot more!

I thought that Super Power Island is where there villians are. Erewhon Prison has Betty Jetty, Sir Rebral, Crusher, Speeding Spike, Copy Cat, and Ratman, but they should be at Super Power Island’s prison. Correct me if i’m wrong.

All of them were either transferred to Erewhon Prison, or they escaped their former jails and got caught and sent to Erewhon Prison. Others, like Mr.Silva and Gretchen Grimlock, could’ve been sent to Erewhon immediatly.

If you pause the game, the stopwatch will keep charging. If you need it right away, pause the game and wait for it to be ready.
On the third level with the ants, if you lose, it tells you to use your pickaxe to defend yourself. But you need to use the diamond drill.
In the end, the two guards are in the lab AND the entrance room at the same time.

Personally,I was disappointed when they said that the totems made them bad.I was hoping that the lines in the trailer,`How did they turn bad?` meant that in the dreams,we see that they are dreaming about the secret of their evilness–how they turned bad,and we have to stop it from happening in the dream.Then they will turn good(not just in the dreams).But the totems ruined it all.
Yeah, and I’ve always been bugged about if they turned good after I got the totems or not.

Use the stopwatch from CC’s dream to stop time. To stop time, press the spacebar once the stopwatch is equipped.
I used walkie talkie to try to leave but its not working. it just keeps saying ” theres no use for a walkie talkie here ” and its pissin me off.
